Recital Information

The rehearsals and recitals will take place at the THOMAS JEFFERSON HIGH SCHOOL Auditorium (4001 West 102nd St., Bloomington, MN 55437). For directions to the Auditorium, click here.

*THE REHEARSALS ARE FOR THE BENEFIT OF STUDENTS AND THEIR PARENTS AND GUARDIANS. PLEASE DO NOT INVITE FRIENDS AND RELATIVES SINCE THEY WILL NOT BE ADMITTED.

Costumes and Tights

Measurements for costumes will be taken by the first week in December. Please note that tights will be ordered FOR ALL STUDENTS along with their costumes. As costumes are custom-ordered, there are no refunds. Alterations may be necessary and are the responsibility of each parent.

Costumes are charged in four installments on October 1st, November 1st, December 1st, and January 1st.

On-Stage Information

You are expected to have each part of your costume for every performance in order to participate in the recitals. Please remember to bring all appropriate shoes to the REHEARSALS as well as the recitals. All girls may wear make-up if desired. Ballet students must wear their hair securely up in a bun.

Recital Ticket Information

All tickets are $12.50 in advance, $15.00 at the performance (both child and adult) and are available at the studio beginning in April. Tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that recital tickets are non-refundable.

Do not buy tickets for performing students! THE DRESS REHEARSAL IS THE STUDENTS' OPPORTUNITY TO SEE THE RECITAL. Students are not allowed in the auditorium during the recital performances.

SEATING IS ON A FIRST-TO-ARRIVE BASIS. YOU MAY NOT SAVE AUDITORIUM SEATS FOR FRIENDS AND RELATIVES BEFORE ANY OF THE PERFORMANCES.

Backstage Dressing Room Information

Performers in "Bouncy the Clown" and 4-5 years old classes should be brought backstage completely ready before the show starts. Following their performance, parents must pick up their student and may return to watch the performance if desired.

All students should go directly backstage when they arrive for each performance. Each class will be assigned to a dressing room in April. The dressing rooms will be clearly labeled backstage. Volunteers will be in every dressing room to assist the children during the performances. If a costume is worn to the auditorium, it must be completely covered so that no one will see it before the actual performance on stage. Fathers of students will not be allowed backstage.


STUDENTS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE AUDITORIUM BEFORE THE SHOW.

FRIENDS OF STUDENTS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN DRESSING ROOMS OR BACKSTAGE.

NO FOOD OR BEVERAGES ARE ALLOWED IN THE DRESSING ROOMS OR BACKSTAGE.

PLEASE PUT YOUR NAME ON YOUR SHOES AND EACH COSTUME PIECE.

PLEASE LEAVE ALL JEWELRY (WATCHES, EARRINGS) AND VALUABLES AT HOME.

Photo and Video Information

You may take all the photographs and videos you wish on the evening of the dress rehearsal. NO CAMERAS OR VIDEO CAMERAS WILL BE ALLOWED DURING THE RECITAL PERFORMANCES, AS IT IS DISTRACTING TO THE AUDIENCE AS WELL AS THE PERFORMERS.

MOST MEDIA, INC. provides DVDs of the performance.

PICTURE PLACE PHOTOGRAPHY will be taking photographs at the Eagan Dance Studio in April.

PHOTO DAYS AT OUR STUDIO

Locate your child's class time on the schedule that will be posted at the studio in April. The time listed is for group photographs. Please be prompt as the schedule will be strictly followed. Individual and family photographs can also be taken on these dates and are on a first-come, first-served basis.
