Becca Strauss
Instructor

Becca began dancing at the Nancy Raddatz Dance Studio of Eagan at two years old. She spent 17 years taking classes in tap, jazz, lyrical, modern, ballet, pointe, and hip-hop. Becca joined the teaching staff in 2011 after student teaching for six years. She taught at the Eagan location for nine years before joining West St. Paul teaching staff in 2020. Becca has choreographed dances for both locations beginning in 2013. Becca was a member of the Dance Company and Advanced Dance Company for Apple Valley High School, as well as completing courses in Choreography and Media. With her classmates, she auditioned and choreographed pieces that were accepted into the school’s spring performances in 2011 and 2012, and performed locally. In 2012, Becca was awarded the Distinguished Service Award for the Dance Program.

Becca earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Leadership from the University of Minnesota in 2016. She went back to graduate school and completed her Master of Public Health from the University of Minnesota School of Public Health in 2018.
